Leadership Team Bios

 

Mark Steck, Pharm D, MBA

CEO/Co-Founder

 

As a seasoned healthcare executive, Mark has over 25 years of executive and management experience in the development and management of complex business operations; including 15+ years in commercial and government markets. In addition to holding corporate executive positions throughout his career; Mark has operated a successful consulting practice that provided business development and operations management services to healthcare companies focused on growth through acquisition and new market penetration.

 

Previously, Mark held several executive, business development and operations positions at Alta Health Strategies, First Health Services, Consultec and Affiliated Computer Services (Xerox). He was notably a key architect in the ground up creation of AltaRx, a PBM that prior to acquisition was the fourth largest PBM in the U.S.

 

From there Mark went to work at Consultec where he was the executive in charge of implementing its PBM operation.  Within five years the Consultec PBM business unit grew to over 600 employees, managed over $15 billion dollars in client drug spend and operated 31 contracts in 23 state Medicaid agencies.

 

Mark holds a Pharm.D. from the University of the Pacific and an MBA from California State University, Northridge. He currently lives in Park City, where he maintains ongoing participation in community development matters and is a member of the National Ski Patrol and an active member of the Canyons Ski Resort patrol.

 

Teddy White

President/Co-Founder

 

Ted White is an entrepreneur with over 40 years of experience in healthcare, human resources, software, insurance and manufacturing.  He brings a strong background in healthcare management, client services and business development to InterveneRx. Ted is also founded and contributed the Cat Vang developed EMR software as the core of the CM+ Solution that is the backbone of InterVR

 

Ted founded Cat Vang Solutions in 2010.  Cat Vang Solutions was a software company which developed a U.S. certified EMR software solutions and the predecessor to the InterveneRx software. . In 2007, Ted co-founded PlanSource,  a human resource, benefit administration and payroll company focused on the small business market. PlanSource is still privately owned and located in Orlando, Florida. In 1997, Ted founded and was CEO of Long Term Care Group (LTCG), an insurance outsourcing company. LTCG was founded with $36 million of venture capital investment and in 2004 was sold for $135 million. Prior to LTCG, Ted was CEO of First Heath Strategies, a large full service third party administrator (TPA). During his tenure at First Health, Ted held numerous positions including CEO, COO, and CAO.  Prior to this, Ted worked for the The Americam Postal Worker Health Plan, UMWA Health and Retirement Funds and BC/BS of Washington DC.

 

Ted is a graduate of the University of Maryland.

 

Susheel Jain

Chief Revenue Officer/Co-Founder

 

Susheel Jain brings over 25 years of healthcare leadership to InterVRx.  He is a recognized industry expert in population health and care management. He is an entrepreneur and has worked for several large healthcare organizations; providing executive leadership, strategy, sales and operations management, business development and product innovation. 

Most recently, Susheel was VP Partnerships at xGHealth Solutions, where he led strategic partnerships, including mergers and acquisitions.   Susheel also held executive roles at: Anthem, leading the development of all new health and wellness solutions across the enterprise; at ACS (Xerox), where he led the company’s federal healthcare practice, and at CorSolutions (Optum), where he held roles in strategy, corporate operations and government business.

 

Carmen Garcia, Pharm D

Senior Vice President, Clinical Programs

Dr. Garcia has over 25 years of experience in pharmaceutical claims management, with expertise in health care data analytics and evaluation.  In addition to practicing pharmacy in both the retail and hospital settings, she spent 14 years in the pharmacy benefit management practice environment, primarily serving Medicaid populations, where she focused on analytics, formulary development, clinical program design, data warehouse implementation and reporting.  She has proficiency in the fraud, waste and abuse space in addition to clinical knowledge in support of population health, risk adjustment and quality based products.
 
Dr. Garcia received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of the Pacific and holds an active California license.  In her spare time, Dr. Garcia enjoys hiking, backpacking, camping, gardening, skiing and reading
